Open-Smart ZIF programming shield
This Arduino shield turns your existing Arduino Uno or Arduino Mega board into an ICSP programmer for programming ATMega328P, ATMega168P, or ATMega8 ICs via its integrated ZIF socket. Using this shield you can directly burn a bootloader or sketch directly from the Arduino IDE. It includes an on-board buzzer and LED indicators, indicating whether the burning is successful and as it makes use of a ZIF socket it is convenient for Arduino board designers for batch burning.

Features:
Compatibility:
As it uses SPI pins of ICSP interface, compatible with Arduino UNO R3 / Arduino Mega2560, can change to the bootloader burner when it is directly plugged onto the two boards.
Operating voltage:
5V - Operating current: 500mA (max)
Arduino boards VIA ICSP:
Supports Arduino UNO R3 / Mega2560 / Nano / pro mini (5V 16M)
On-board buzzer:
If the fuse bit is successfully modified, it will sound once, and then if burning bootloader is OK, it will sound once again.
If the bootloader did not burn successfully it will beep twice.
On-board LED indicators:
HEART BEAT led lights up as a soft pulse when powered normally. During programming, the PROG indicator flashes until it finishes. If the programming is unsuccessful, the ERROR indicator (red) will light.
Programming interfaces:
Onboard 28 pin locking seat for Atmega328P, Atmega168P, Atmega8 IC bootloader burning
Onboard ISP_6PIN and ISP_10PIN (10 pin header not fitted) interface, for the external Arduino board bootloader burning
On-board FT232RL and CH340G USB to TTL programmer interface (external programmer required, header not fitted) for uploading code to the chip on the 28pin zif socket.
Programming Guide, Schematic and ICSP Sketch available on our support forum here.
