The PT2262 (Tx) transmitter module is designed to be used in conjunction with the PT2272-M4 (Rx) receiver module (Item HCMODU0041). When used together they are a set of wireless modules operating at 315MHz and utilise the the Princeton Technology Corp PT2262 & PT2272 remote control encoder and decoder IC's. They provide an easy way of remotely controlling up to 4 channels without the need of a microcontroller. This makes them ideal for applications such as security systems, garage door controllers, home automation, and remote control.
Please note that we currently stock two versions of these modules operating at 315 or 433MHz. When purchasing these modules please ensure that match the correct frequency for your Tx and Rx pair and that the operating frequency is legal in your country. For the UK please choose the 433MHz version.
As with all wireless transmitter devices, please check that they are legal to use within your country before purchase.
