We've partnered up with the fabulous guys over at EDTracker to bring to you the EDTracker DIY bundle in it's entirety. We were previously selling bundles with a blank PCB, which you can still purchase; however, we're now in a position to sell you an entire kit, which includes the EDTracker PCB.

UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO PRICE INCREASES AND STOCK SHORTAGES IN THE INTEGRATED CIRCUITS BUSINESS, THESE BOARDS ARE NOW COSTING MORE TO MANUFACTURE. THEREFORE WE HAVE HAD TO BEGRUDGINGLY INCREASE THE PRICE.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

This item is a bundle of components and requires soldering to construct it (excludes pre-soldered bundle HCKITS0057). It is therefore strongly recommended that you only purchase the un-soldered versions if you have some soldering skills or are comfortable with soldering small components. If you don't have much experience with soldering then we recommend purchasing one of the bundles that includes the custom PCB or the pre-soldered version as this will greatly simplify the build process.

In most circumstances the EdTracker will be situated where it is possible for it to become subject to mechanical stress (for example attached to a pair of headphones). When locating your EdTracker please ensure that the microUSB connector is not subject to long term repetitive or excessive mechanical strain.

Due to the nature of this product should you have an issue getting the hardware to work you may be required to return the entire bundle. If you have any issues, or are unsure of any part of the construction of this kit, please contact us for help. Alternatively you can post a question on our support forum (forum.hobbycomponents.com). We are unable to replace parts damaged due to improper construction.

If you purchase a bundle with the enclosure, please note that although the EDtracker PCB is specifically designed to fit this case, these are standard project boxes and will require modification to allow access to the USB connector and switch. This is a bundle of parts only and does not come with instructions. Further information can be found in the link below the youtube video and on our support forum here. Please be sure you order the correct bundle from the drop-down list on the right so you are not disappointed with your purchase.

For pre-soldered and tested version (HCKITS0057) all parts have been soldered together (pro micro, MPU-9250, edTracker PCB and switch) and the pro micro has been pre-programmed and tested with the latest edTracker firmware. Please note that although as part of the testing process the edTracker is calibrated, due to temperature and drift variations over time it may require calibrating before use.
