This water level sensor / float switch can be used to sense when a liquid has reached a set level. It makes just a magnetic float to trigger a read switch sealed inside the main sensor barrel. This makes the entire sensor waterproof and a pair of sealed wires protruding from the rear of the sensor provide connection to the read switches clean contacts. Depending on the orientation of the sensor these contacts can be normally open or normally closed.
